Scott Kotller

Scott Kotler is founder and a managing partner of Scott F. Kotler, P.A. in Coral Gables, Florida, 1994-Present.  Scott F. Kotlerr, PA is a high-volume criminal defense practice, concentrating on state felony and misdemeanor cases, including murder, fraud, robbery, sex-related cases and DUI's.

Scott served at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s office from 1987 to 1991 as Assistant State Attorney, hand-picked as one of 33 prosecutors (out of 1000) by the then-State Attorney Janet Reno. There, he prosecuted various crimes including misdemeanors, DUI's, armed robberies, frauds and murders.   This is one of the busiest prosecuting offices in the country.   He also tried over fifty cases to verdict, including numerous high-profile criminal cases.

Scott Kotler is affiliated with the American Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Mr. Kotler has been involved in teaching and advisory positions at the University of Miami, Moot Court and the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, where he trained and supervised incoming prosecutors.

Dina Aronfeld is committed to helping individuals and families in times of crisis and has been dedicated to issues affecting human rights and the environment.   Mrs. Aronfeld served and volunteered on the board of directors and as an event planner for several non-profit organizations to raise funds for charitable causes.  

Mrs. Aronfeld is currently the President of ABC, Inc. a networking organization for lawyers.  She has worked in law firms for five years and has experience in law firm management and human resource development. 

Mrs. Aronfeld earned her bachelor's degree in immunology and microbiology from the University of  Miami.  After completing her degree, Mrs. Aronfeld worked in the field of Medical Diagnostic Research & Development for ten years.     

Both Mr. Spencer Aronfeld and Mrs. Dina Aronfeld funded a scholarship at the University of Miami law school for students who devote significant time to public service.

South Florida Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Attorney Spencer Aronfeld has enjoyed powerful courtroom victories over Walt Disney World, Wild Oats, P.A.C. Construction, Fedan Tire, and Todel Apartments and has gained international recognition as a lawyer for the people.

Mr. Aronfeld graduated from the Trial Lawyer College, a non-profit institution founded and directed by legendary trial lawyer, Gerry Spence in Dubois, Wyoming. Mr. Aronfeld's commitment to helping people in times of need is evident in his commitment to his community.  In response to the tragic earthquake in Haiti, Mr. and Mrs. Aronfeld immediately set up a fundraiser to benefit the victims and founded Lawyers to the Rescue.   Mr. Aronfeld was also quick to respond, lend a hand and a voice to the victims of the oil spill in Louisiana.

Marco D. Britt

Marco D. Britt is an Associate General Counsel with the Cisneros Group of Companies.  Prior to joining Cisneros, Mr. Britt worked for a boutique law firm practicing in the areas of international, corporate, intellectual property, taxation and banking law, with a particular focus on cross- border mergers, acquisitions and international taxation.

Mr. Britt is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned both a Juris Doctor and an LL.M. (Masters of Law) in Taxation. While in law school he was an active member of the Tax Law Society, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. He also served as Community Service Committee Chairman and Historian for the Hispanic Law Student Association and 1L Liaison for the International Law Society. Mr. Britt was also awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship (2005-2008).

In addition, Mr. Britt earned both a Master’s degree in International Business and a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Economics (International Track) from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business Administration.

Before entering law school, Mr. Britt worked for various large multinational corporations in both Italy and the principality of Liechtenstein. During law school he interned for the Honorable Antonio Arzola in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida County Court, Criminal Division. Mr. Britt has also worked as an International Policy Practice and Lobbying Intern for one of the largest law firms in Florida.

Jessica Laleh

Jessica Laleh is admitted to the Florida Bar and is a recent graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. While earning her juris doctorate, Jessica received Dean's List recognition and gained membership onto the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board. Jessica was also a semi-finalist in the Clyde C. Atkins Advanced Moot Court Competition where she was awarded Best Brief.

Jessica hails from New York City, where she graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University, with a Bachelor's in English Literature. She is also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.

Jessica Laleh was recognized by the Florida Bar as a Certified Legal Intern and represented indigent clients of Miami while working at the Dade Legal Aid Society. Her experience includes two Florida appellate court internships, working closely with the Honorable Mark E. Polen of the Fourth District Court of appeal and the Honorable Frank A. Shepherd of the Third District Court of Appeal. She has demonstrated her longstanding commitment to serving the community through public interest work.

She also has private firm experience in the areas of insurance defense, bankruptcy, foreclosures, personal injury and family law.

Domenick G. Lazzara

Domenick Giovanni Lazzara moved to South Florida in 2004 to attend the University of Miami where he majored in Psychology and minored in Anthropology. While attending the University of Miami, Domenick was a member of the Club Rugby Team, he acted as a Miami Children's Hospital Play Room Volunteer and was also a Research Assistant in the Child Psychology Department, working specifically with Autistic children. He graduated with his Bachelors of Arts from UM in 2007.

Domenick spent one year after graduating college working for a financial services company, Northwestern Mutual. It was during his time studying and training to be a financial planner that he realized his true calling: to become a lawyer. Domenick started studying at St. Thomas University School of Law in 2009 after spending the summer as a Judicial Intern with the Honorable Ada B. Pozo. During his second year of law school, Domenick joined the Mock Trial Team and went on to compete in two mock trial competitions including the ABA Labor Law Mock Trial Competition and the American Association for Justice Mock Trial Competition, both in Miami, Florida, as well as receiving the Trial Team's Most Improved Award in 2010. Domenick was elected President of the St. Thomas Trial Team at the end of his second year and elected Chairman of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity Mock Trial Committee. Domenick began interning with Lawyers to the Rescue's Chairman of the Board Spencer Aronfeld during the summer before his third year of law school, and at the end of his internship and having completed Law School and the Florida Bar Exam  Domenick became a full time Associate with Mr. Aronfeld and Aronfeld Trial Lawyers. During the 2012 same summer, he was a Judicial Intern with the Honorable Jennifer Bailey and became actively involved with Lawyers to the Rescue, both Pro Bono Legal Aid opportuities.

Mr. Lazzara has been a member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Miami since 2012 and is an outstanding addition to several of  Lawyers to the Rescue projects including working with individuals at the legal clinic for the homeless and recruiting law students to volunteer with Lawyers to the Rescue.
