The Habitat Build Project was one of those great and rewarding opportunities to give back and experience an extra dimension of caring.  It was also a great change of pace trading in the tools of our trade-computers, blackberrys and cell phones for a different kind of tools - hammers, nails, roof slabs, and paint and get out of our comfort zone and experience the rewards of helping someone build their home.

In addition to meeting the financial criteria, down payment, and low monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor – sweat equity – into building their Habitat home and the homes of others"explained Rud Nast, Development Officer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.

There are many ways to help our fellow human beings, and reaching out to the homeless takes compassion and strength of character and that’s exactly what Lawyers to the Rescue expects from its members when we visited Camillus House on August 10th, 2010 to serve 250 meals.  

Thank you to the volunteers at this event your help with feeding the homeless  is  both inspirational and humanistic at its core.

Sara Rose, Kid Lawyer is an illustrated children's book written by Spencer Aronfeld. On November 24, 2010 he and members of Lawyers to the Rescue delivered hand signed copies to admitted children in the hospital.

Sara Rose Kid Lawyer is a Children's Book written by Lawyers to the Rescue Chairman of the Board and  Founder Spencer Aronfeld. 

Proceeds from sales of Sara Rose Kid Lawyer Story Books will go to Lawyers to the Rescue.
